That the game before it was revealed was being planned as a actually WW2 game with iconic battles and many factions. But when they revealed it all they had done was some American uniforms and Twisted Steel (which I’m 100% convinced was supposed to be a Market Garden based map). Then when rushing to develop the game they came up with the idea of how ToW would be a timeline of WW2 and decided to start with early war battles. And since they already had many american based cosmetics, they just slapped a a Brodie on them and called them british
