This update actually helped my performance issues a ton, which were preventing me from playing the game. I used to get less than 60 fps and bad stutters even at the lower resolutions, which caused me to stop playing the game for a while. Now, after the update, I can get 60+ fps with very few stutters at 1080p

what I learned back in the day in BF2142 in that massive EU tank they had which was a lot like a chuchill, big & slow with a big gun, was to spin the hull and turret and get a shot into the ground where my engine was less than a second ago.. its a percentage chance but sometimes works, also sometimes gets road kills

worked like a real laser, not pew pew .. continuous instant beam of light
needed 2 shots to kill a walker but the down side is you probably never got to shoot the second shot due to the 5 second recharge
