If you have the revolver as a secondary and throwing knives along with a bayonet, you have a lot of options for close range

Personally for aggressive recon play I find the throwing knives the most useful

Recon has a HUGE advantage with the spawn beacon; dying doesnt have nearly the same impact if you can slap your own spawn point down 5 metres from an enemy objective

Even if I die 3 times before I kill a dude, his spawn point is gonna be way further back than mine
