The pocket knife has a larger takedown hitbox so if they dodge and get your side/rear they can melee you before your bayonet's hitbox touches them

plus if there's server lag involved, lots of spoopy stuff can happen

CQ/CQL, Rush, and TDM should be the main game modes along with Ops / Grand Ops now that it's so popular. Much better map design is a MUST (most maps in BFV are pretty horrid) and just putting the fun back into BF is what they need to do. I could play BFBC2, BF3, and BF4 for HOURS and never get bored or angry but I can't say that with BFV..

Sure, you CAN run around in circles in any game mode out there but if you play with squads and communicate well, CQ can be a very fun and intense mode

haha but yeah, BF doesn't have the best communication in-game which really sucks because VOIP never really caught on.. I LOVED VOIP on Xbox 360 in BF3 but nobody on PC really ever uses it

ranking system, better connection, better communication between teammates, improved commo rose and squad system etc... I think we need these to make cq or 5v5 actually viable

We use stuff like TS and Discord which voids the need for VOIP but also leaves solo players out of the loop

I'm not here to "show" the "truth" to anyone, but I'd argue that all games that have been persistant in the time in both popularity, and attention to it's development, often revolve around Esports.

It's unlogical in my eyes to complain about something that while you might not share, or see working, has the potential to greatly benefit the overall game.

CSGO, DOTA, LOL, these are games that don't see a CSGO 4 or DOTA V coming because they grant a profit to all parts interested. This doesn't happen in the current model of BF.

The part where you say "those are compeltely different kinds of games" is highly debatable. Many of them are FPS games.
