• The visuals are more of a beginning of the war: fresh, pristine, blank. Almost like waiting for someone to bomb it. Yes it's boring, but Arras nailed it. Total war, destruction and realistic battlefield conditions is something that the other 8 maps need. Hopefully Mercury will have something gritty even in a white sand beach.
• Imo the WW2 feeling is a little too overlooked. It doesn't mean that it should be as gritty looking as Devastation. In the end, battlefields IRL were green, deserted, sunny, and often pristine before someone destroys it. That's my opinion though. Basically gritty ≠ WW2 always.
• While I can agree the sound is underwhelming compared to BF1, they should really, really make it better, louder. Even in War Tapes mode it doesn't make it good either.
