i realised something the other day, i was thinking about how lame it is that all the guns are so similar but then i realised that compared to prior games they're actually more differentiated because games yonks ago didnt have specialisations or customisations at all

so they're only 'too similar' maybe by modern standards

like 15 years ago just things like RoF, accuracy and reload time, plus cosmetic differences like how it looks and how it soudns when it shoots, were the only differentiation you had
