Basically hitting the back is best, weakening shots like turret and tracks have there benefits to smart players but I think most people don’t really have time to aim for them

there's a programing issue with long hair, too make it simple, the 3d modeling they are using (mesh) makes hair stiff and unreal looking unless you add a much more complex version of the system called animated bento. bento hair can look realistic, in fact some MMOs use it however it comes at a cost in terms of performance as every movement of the hair requires scripting and has more complexity, both of which would cause some lag or server performance issues. An updo like the cover art has is a compromise that would satisfy aesthetics yet not impact significantly on the game play.
