Get a feel for where your plane’s max altitude is or you’ll stall and be a super easy target

With sticks it has a “neutral” speed, so up is more throttle and down is less throttle

If you have a second seat in the plane, you can swap to it to turn your engine completely off and slow down for a bit before you fall like a rock

If your a bomber it's pretty easy to shake them

The only ways to lose them is to either slow down so they overshoot, try to land your plane (wait for the landing gear to deploy), or outmaneuver them.
Outmaneuvering isn’t always easy. Make sure to not fly in the same clockwise or counterclockwise circle
Start one way and hope that they don’t see you when you’re changing direction to escape them

And if your want to be very toxic just go in circles around a resupply station and just keep using quick repair

Use the ground features to obscure your escape when possible, dive to make it harder to see you against the ground, fly through bridges and try to make them crash.
