It allows me to easily hold the bridge as i can keep resupplying my AP mines, and once i kill someone i put a AP mine on the stairway i am holding and go to the one that was just exploded

I think perhaps there are a multitude of reasons why it is for a limited time, keeping in mind the critical thinking behind BF V was to bring the community together in the game play.

@covert cypress re: trying firestorm - I doubt I would've downloaded BFV if it'd been a straight up BR game. I'm simply not interested in BR games. I've tried PUBG, played two rounds, uninstalled and refunded. I didn't like the mod in the Arma series, I don't like any current offerings.
