AA tanks are easier to use if you have a really big and responsive screen, unfortunately, both the staghound and AA tanks have been put into close quater roles .. they were usually far from the slugfest of a tank battle, because of their force multiplying nature in a rl ww2 armoured formation .. but it is what it is

There is a reddit post from December in which a guy made himself the effort to count all the servers being frequented in the game at a certain point of time. Due to his research at that time there were about 35000 people playing on PC. If you compared that to the player count of Battlefield 1 at its time there were still 75000 players on PC. I know it is not the most precise measure to count servers however it nevertheless shows that Battlefield 5 has much fewer players than its predecessor.

The thing is that until those issues are fixed a lot of players will have run out of patience with the game. Moreover until then they will have probably already announced the successor of Battlefield 5 - "the game that will make everything better".
