it depends on playstyle, sure G1-5 and maybe M1A1 is too overpowered but playstyle matters most in this type of game
I sometimes find myself doing better (in K/D or score) in guns I consider shitty from my view

ttk was not game breaking in bf1 the majority of people play normal were if you played hardcore the guns worked a lot better most semi rifles were 2 shot kills mgs actually worked sniper rifles worked no bs chest shot not being a one hit kill and smgs were better. bfv on the other hand have made sniper rifles worthless because of the stupide medic pouch every one gets best hit thos head shots every time semi auto rifles act like the ones from bf1 on hardcore mode damage wise shotguns are absolute trash worse than bf1. MG's are useless because that class is out damaged by about every thing unless your useing the mg42 . smg's are either to high rate of fire making them uncontrollable, or to low so there useless. minus the fact the don't have the range for the type of maps dice have made for this game. then again that's my complaints on BFV gun play.
