Like what I mean is take twisted steel as an example, the entire map is just that bridge. Sure it has a little village, but really it is a swamp, a bridge and a handful of houses. Contrast that with something like Kubra Dam, which did have a giant bridge, or was it several, anyways, that and a giant dam. But it had one dam base, one hilltop building base, one vehicle depot base, a couple support structure bases and the two main deployments.
Twisted Steel is 4 sets of like 2-3 houses, a swamp and a couple spots on a bridge.
Or maybe take sharqi peninsula, a construction site, a beachside resort, a TV tower, a military checkpoint between the residential/commercial part and the construction and TV tower, and a neighborhood with some pools

Paris, around then, would have had the reliance on water freight still, so tank-able roads would be near water, in order to have a mix of buildings, tanks and different styles of bases you'd have.
