MG42 is MMG, so no ADS unless bipod is deployed, and is an accuracy by volume weapon. 250 rounds at 890(?)rpm or 50 rounds at 1200 rpm.
FG42 is LMG, so you can ADS any time, only has 20 rounds, can be very accurate when upgraded.
