Sniping is easier with the new TTK because at range, every automatic gun is a 7 bullet to kill, and snipers can tank these, use a bandage or camp near a medic crate, to keep going on their killing sprees

it's just easier for snipers to tank bullets now while their own TTK is essentially unchanged.
