Don't think there is a best, just try what works best for you. Highly depends on if you wanna improve what a gun is good at to have a really niche gun or try to negate the shortcomings of a gun to have an allrounder.

The autoloading 8 and the ZH-29 have a VERY fast TTK but have a much higher skill requirement as you have to land those 2 shots to kill

If you as much as miss 1 shot your TTK is longer than Support class weapons.

Well, not really. As a support you have to be completely stationary to get the full advantage of the strengths of your weapon, so you're just a sitting duck for an enemy sniper, who can dip in and out of cover to shoot you in the head.
