because WW2 wasn't this all for one fragfest - people seem to forget this and think that BF1 is a benchmark for how wars actually played

i got the ultimate solution to make them powerful or keep them powerful yet balanced.

Remove the auto repair and auto supply on planes and tanks.
Make off map carriers or land strips for each side where you land and repair and resupply automatically.

problem solved. planes can remain powerful but infantry gets a tiny reprieve from them yet when they see a plane coming they run

From what I've read, there was a mastery that incorrectly unlocked a proficiency assignment instead of a mastery assignment.
