Well, they've both significantly reduced the rate of fire for the MG34 and MG42 compared to how fast they actually fired, and they have reduced their damage output significantly to how powerful they were in real life. 2 shots from an MG42 was enough to tear your leg clean off and yet I shoot somebody 6 times and they're still kicking, and fighting back. The supposed tradeoff for the MMG archetype is that you exchange mobility (thus leaving you extremely exposed and vulnerable to sniper fire) in exchange for a high damage output. This tradeoff is not something I've observed to be true considering that the KE7, an LMG with almost half the ROF of the actual MG42, kills in the same amount of time. At that point the only thing that MMGs have to offer is high magazine capacity because they're belt fed, which more often than not doesn't come into the equation because you get sniped before said ammo capacity becomes a factor @mossy badge

Problem with playing medic is if you don't clear the area before rezzing both of you die. But if you clear the area sometimes you don't get back to your teammate in time to rez them. If you get killed rezzing them and they get killed right after you look like an asshole in every situation there is almost no upside to rezzing unless in the safest of situations
