I like the idea of having 3x on HMG's, the only way they could balance it is if it was like a gadget that you need to equip on your HMG.
So you still have the regular HMG we have now, nothing changes apart from adding a scope on the top of the gun, say you already have a 1.25x on your MG42, you would need to remove that and then place the 3x on the gun, that would be easily 5 seconds, if you run an iron sights HMG, you could equip the 3x in 2 seconds.
Still giving support players using the HMG the option to deploy without being penalized even more
