Spotting scope or 20% RoF are both great tier 1s, autocannon and LJ adapter are both very viable tier 3s, RP-3s or AP shells for Tier 4. None of the Tier 2s are bad, just kinda...there.

Spot scopes on the lights are very powerful on maps like Aerodrome or Twisted Steel.
Don't expect to tank a lot of hits like you could in BF1.

Even the heaviest tanks will get hellmurdered by assaults fairly easily. Either keep your distance or rely on a friendly infantry screen.
You can survive being aggressive, but mostly in lights and you need to always be looking for ways to break line of sight and have an exit plan. Also, aggro lights more or less demand track repair.
Getting tracked is death.
Never hard commit in any tank.
Push, back off, push, back off.

It can happen, but AA tanks aren't real great at it.
Two bursts to knock out fighters, and bombers just shrug you off.
Fighters are probably tuned about right.
If they don't react fast, they die.

At least the lighter ones. Once you got into some of the heavy stuff that was more of a full crew job, but even bigass stuff like the Pak 43 could be manhandled with a large enough crew.

I've been in a few fights already where a vertical stab would have been the difference between being forced to withdraw or forcing my opponent to withdraw.
I've gotta say, so far the flare/incendiary launchers for the tanks have been pretty awful. The flare launcher just dumps it on the ground next to you, and the incendiary launcher just drops a couple of molotovs a short distance in front.
Both feel like a total waste of a choice.
I was hoping for something nasty like WP smoke for the incendiary launcher. Though based on visuals all the smoke in the game looks like WP, which is kind of unnerving.
