RP-3s very much are for when you turn a corner and there's a Tiger right there.

Hit 5, spam your entire rocket rack, follow up with targeted shots to disable bits that weren't already trashed by the rockets.

They're also weirdly low velocity, so no cross-map rocket snipes unless you're the god of ballistics.

Staghound has a good mix of options though. You can either take spotting scope for utility, or 20% higher RoF on the main gun for straight DPS. Tier 3-4 mix is either going to be autocannon + AP, littlejohn + AP, or littlejohn + RP-3.

AC + AP is the general purpose setup. Lets you shred infantry out to medium distances, harass tanks with AC fire, and the AP lets you either seriously hurt tanks at medium range, or provides an emergency win button at close range.

LJ + AP is the sniping setup. Take it on Aerodrome, find a nice ridge, annoy all the enemy tans.

LJ + RP-3 is the brawling setup. Huge alpha, good close-in damage afterwards, but the rockets are too slow and inaccurate for range.

The incendiary launcher is a joke.

Don't take it unless you hate yourself.
