thats 1 thing that i'm worried about.. Blackout had a 1 week beta and we all saw how much the game improved based on feedback and such during that beta.. I really hope we get a firestorm beta eventually

10s basically means if you're not standing on top of the person who drops it, you won't recover it.

Eh, I suppose. I'd rather see them have more realistic range and less fuel endurance if they have to cut things down. Heck, even if they have to drop the damage or change how it works.
Could be interesting to make being on fire a deal a fixed rate of damage and just have longer blasts increase the burn duration.
Would solve the issue of turning the corner into a flamer and being instantly killed.

Yeah, there's a lot of room for variation in how exactly it might work.
Could even mess with the application rate over distance. So a concentrated blast up close stacks more than a hit at range.
