@sullen mist question for you, I agree that its distracting to have the incorrect helmet, but which would you rather them do? Fix the helmets, or continue focusing on something more pressing? Not saying it won't get fixed, maybe it will, but I'd personally rather them focus on getting combined arms and other big features ready asap

I mean, I don't really care about the shading or colouring because personally and this is a personal preference, I prefer the Blue ww1 Adrian Helmet due to it's roots from the great war, but I do think that if they are planning to add the French uniform into the multiplayer base game (which may potentially be likely), it would be a bit of a nice thing if Dice were able to change the colouring of the helmet to the standard green or include the blue Helmet alongside the green one as a nod to old uniform standards (actually I also might be in the near minority but I wouldn't also mind seeing some ww1 uniforms in the game like the old Stahlhelm design and the old British NCO uniform as well), it's not too difficult I'd imagine plus it can be done in time before launch so that they can eventually work on combined arms, firestorm, vehicle customisation, dragging bodies and the plane crashing animation and terrain deformation

One thing i've learned from talking to devs, never underestimate the complexity of something. What may seem like a simple fix could require hours of rework in another area. Just taking the helmet as an example, you need to create a completely new UV map for the mesh, then match it up with the correct NPC ID's make sure the UV handles the lighting correctly, adjust the layers accordingly, make sure there isn't some odd way for a player to break the new models etc.

at EA play, i noticed immediatly that your player character pulls a rip cord for a parachute on first day of grand ops, even though you're jumping with a static line chute
that means, there is no cord, you jump and the chute deploys, i brought this up to a couple of devs that were present, and I'm not sure if it ever made its way up the chain XD

personally, I think it has the POTENTIAL to be my favorite bf game. It solves a lot of the issues plaguing the franchise for the past few years as far as lack of teamwork and run and gun. (although perhaps in a way that may put off new players)
the gunplay is fantastic, my main concern is how deep the progression system will be, and how new players will be able to adapt
at first, i didn't want a ww2 BF, i was worried that it would be a copy/paste of bf1

IIRC, the flakpanzers used the same turret control moters as teh standard tiger, while the turrets were lighter and had a smaller moment of inertia, so they could move faster, but not by much
