I can do fairly well with the smle mklll infantry. I am a decent pilot, sniper, and a horrible medic. I can storm buildings with hellreigel fairly well. Lvl 52. Havent leveled up medic once.

Fire does more damage but if you hit someone with it directly it won't do too much afaik

I don't know if any combatants in WWII used out and out gas grenades. I know stuff like the blendkorper smoke grenade produced some pretty nasty byproducts though.

It's been a while since I played Battlefield 4, and I still love the game, but damn do I hate the vehicle dominance in that game. IRNVs, homing missiles, unlimited ammo. Battlefield 1 may be more casual than 4, but at least you can be effective in every class on just about every map.

Indeed. You can easily avoid tanks in Battlefield 1 because they have limited aim. Battlefield 4? Vehicles have a 360 degree view with IRNV to see you even in light cover so you're pretty much dead if they so much as see you.

So in that sense I'm glad Battlefield V's setting is in WWII where there aren't IRNVs and homing missles.

#

And I hope they don't return even in future Battlefield games set in modern or future times. Not without a counter anyway.
