Nyphon, the best tool for taking out a tank is another tank. The howitzer variant of the FT is particularly devastating, and can three shot a landship or A7V.

I really liked the balance in bad company and BC2. Vehicles were very powerful offensively, but weak defensively. 3/4 of the classes in BC2 could solo a tank.

Helos were nasty with a good crew, but self repair didn't exist back then, so you needed an on-board engineer to fix you up.
BC2 defines the high water mark for me. Great maps, great vehicle balance, lots of fun gadgets, and the tracer dart pistol being an all class sidearm was fantastic.
Good gadget distribution too. Assaults got ammo boxes and grenade launchers or C4, supports got medic boxes and defibs, engineers got launchers and repair tools, and recons got C4 and throwable motion sensors.

Depends on the nuke, the W54 had a very small yield, under a kiloton. At 600t yield it would have effects out to about 2km. Altis in Arma 3 is roughly 25km across.
At minimum yield, it was something like 10t, which gives a radius of effect out to a mere 0.5km

WW3 wouldn't see battlefield nukes in all probability. The whole point of tactical nukes was to make up for lack of precision in Cold War-era weapons. Modern guided weapons largely eliminate the role of tac nukes, leaving only strategic-level city-killers.

Eh, with modern weapons the initial exchange would likely be decisive.
Presuming a NATO/Russia or NATO/China engagement, everyone knows where the other side's manufacturing is, you can't really hide a weapons factory from modern surveillance. PK of first strike weapons like cruise missiles is high enough that any static target is likely to be wiped out in the first exchange, and mobile materiel without resupply has a very finite lifespan.
Plus manufacturing times for modern equipment are long enough that ramping to a war time economy is pretty infeasible compared to the time it takes for a modern opponent to dismantle it.

Well you've got a few. One is a low-intensity land-grab sort of war, like we saw in Ukraine, that escalates to a conventional response but gets reined in short of a nuclear exchange. It going global would mostly be a matter of treaty obligations and/or position of forces at the time of all hell breaking loose.

The other is a limited nuclear exchange precipitated by either political posturing (Fairly unlikely except maybe in the case of Iran or NK) or a territorial incursion. That would potentially involve tac nukes used against military targets, but the odds are that you'd either see massive conventional retaliation (e.g. Iran goes nuclear, NATO repaves them with conventional munitions, and occupies them for a hell of a long time.) or you'd see full nuclear escalation.
Aside from that you've got the armageddon scenario, where everyone pushes the big red button.
