I loved the Suomi, the STG just felt too dominant sometimes

A good option when playing the Machine Gunner is to go prone with your LMG or MMG and deploy its bipod for increased accuracy. Then spray bullets in the direction of groups of enemies for a great chance at suppressing and spotting them.

i play medic, and the beginning weapons are just trash imo, and dont fit my play style (run and gun on obj's)

imo vehicles are too oppressive

it also seems a bit campy in general, and some maps are seemingly built to be camped

conquest is basically the only game mode that is populated

SL spawns in and is Light Infantry Assault for great urban firepower and highest health regeneration, backed up by a Field Medic who also excels at CQC with an SMG and can keep the SL alive for the most important spawn point.

Fourth squad member could be a Machine Gunner Support and lay near the Recon to auto-suppress-spot and mow down enemies entering the objective

Tank rolls up and toasts somebody and they can spawn back in as a Tank Buster on the Recon's Spawn beacon or hopefully the SL.

All it does is some slight visual effects, and only if you are a support with that very specific class, it spots enemies.
(unlike BF4, where it also affect your accuracy with your weapon, or even BF3 where it makes your vision almost completely blurred)
I feel like DICE don't really know what to do with it, they clearly don't want to remove it from the game, yet it's still there, but heavily toned down.

@nova bear I played bfv and loved it, i played bf3, bf4, and then tried the beta. once the beta ended i got bf1 since it was cheap and to see what the difference was since a lot of people were saying bf1 was better.

i play bf as a foot soldier, so the emphasis and how powerful vehicles are in bf1 really annoys me
