How does it exactly force players into a certain way of playing?

Because of health regen changes, a med pack is essential to get asap. Just give us it when we spawn instead of having to run to the nearest med station.

If we use it, then sure, we are happy to go grab another. But to have to get one on spawning is tiresome and unnecessary.

i found myself spamming the ammo and meds supply button constantly. Maybe it was just me who thought this wasn't great.

The 'squad play to win' idea is just not great for pug servers.

Dice listened to the vocal minority of serious players who do play in organised squads, but the majority who don't will ultimately win out.

And in Battlefield 1, it was fucking everywhere that people healed and resupplied.

The new mechanics were confusing if you came from BF1 to BFV, i equiped the medic box thinking it was going to wirk the same as it was before

The first few days of beta were rough, but by the end medics were pretty routinely resupplying. Also, it's a nice touch that a medic revive gives you a bandage too.

I had a lot more issues with supports.

Most of them seemed oblivious.

TBH I kind of wish DICE had gone with the super hardcore attrition they initially were going for, without bandages at all.

Medics have come a long way since BF1942, back in the day the were not able to revive and they needed to get close to heal you and the medic bag had a limited amount it could heal before it had to refill.

The "system" in BFV is similar to the one in BF2, you could throw a couple of bags to the ground and you could heal if you stay near that area and reviving was as it is in the more recent games

The biggest question i have about BFV is what class is going to have this weapon?, is it going to be like BF1942 where the Allied Assault guy had the BAR or is it going to go to the Support class.

Well, which combat roles will get it.

Remember, they teased that pathfinder recon role, which would give SMGs to recons.

But I'm guessing it'll be classed as an LMG, like the FG 42, Bren, and KE-7 were.

You need to set your filters correctly, it sounds like you're restricting some.

That would be why.

1-5 slots means you won't see full servers or servers with more than 5 slots open.

Usually you just want to pick a 64/64 server that doesn't have a huge queue.

You'll get in fairly fast.

BF1 snipers have that sweet spot range, where they do 100 on a body shot. Makes them silly easy to score kills with.

It's designed schizophrenically, without regard for what information users need, and without regard for flow between different screens.

The actual font and relative minimalism in the HUD is actually pretty decent, but almost everything else requires one or two more clicks than necessary.

The most egregious example I can think of is in BFV, where the company management screen resets to allies any time you enter it, meaning if you want to adjust your axis loadout, you have to toggle back to axis between each class tweak you make.
