It kinda makes me sad that i'll be leaving Battlefield 1 behind soon. It was a absolutely beautiful game, a blast to play, and never really got boring. There was always something new you could do, something unexpected, etc. Thank you DICE.
I think back to the last few (almost 3 years) of times where I was constantly intrigued and entertained by the beautiful maps, the great gameplay, the stunning visuals, and when I first started the game, I was so happy.

@hexed latch i'm on a GTX 1080, i7 4770K @ 4.2GHz, so a pretty similar setup to yours. BFV closed alpha runs at 50-90fps for me at 3440x1440 ultrawide, mix of ultra and low settings. BF1 runs at around 60-100fps. your rig should be fine if you're running 1080p or even 1440p, as long as it's not 1440p ultrawide and above

np mate, you can make use of the beta to see if you need upgrading. personally i'm being bottlenecked by my CPU now as i don't really benefit from a drop in resolution. so for my next upgrade i'm keeping my GPU but changing my CPU, mobo and RAM. for your case, dropping some graphical settings might help your 980ti run better
