i've seen plenty of people complain about the self repairs on tanks in BF1, and while i think its overpowered, they seem surprised when tanks get rekt in BFV
but that feels natural to me when ppl dont play support or dont feel there is enough reward to walk around repairing friendly tanks

self repair isn't all that bad, it's easy to disrupt, prevents griefing by having players steal tanks when you leave to repair and is fairly slow. It was the emergency repair that was kinda lol where you could gain 30 health for free. BFV changed it by only allowing you to repair so much with self repair up to about 70-ish health rather than 100

other players repairing you is fairly uncommon moreso because they're at high risk of death usually and get chump change score for it. You can get up to 180 points for a single squad resupply if they're completely out of ammo while you get maybe 50 for sitting near a tank for a minute or two repairing it
