@onyx blade that rule wont change and will be carried over to the next battlefield sub as well. without it, we would get dozens of posts each week for random servers. posts of people begging others to join their servers. Each of those posts get downvoted to 0 and we don't need or want people advertising their clans, communities or special events. There are many other places aside from reddit where you can advertise community-made events. Actually even if you posted the same post again, and invited people into a discord channel to coordinate the event, that wouldnt be removed. But you posted server information, which is advertising, and we don't allow it. Apologies mate.

@onyx blade nope no worries. rules suck, but they are there because a few ruined it for all. the start of the sub there were literally 15-20 posts a day with people saying "join my discord, join our server, here is our clan page, etc, etc". So we had to put a stop to it for good. I think the best way would be to make your same post, but just leave out the server info. Youre free to put an invite in the thread to a sub channel in this discord channel. Give people the time, day, what youre doing, etc. Basically exactly what you posted, just leave out the server info and instead tell people to join discord and coordinate it there. We remove discord channel information as well for everything EXCEPT this main Battlefield discord. So you can link to it all you want

so im trying to play assault because of the medal, but I keep getting destroyed by snipers on big maps since your effective gun range is like 30m, everything after that you might as well be shooting blanks. How to avoid snipers and reach the objective without getting killed?

@wraith berry Shotguns are excellent weapons, just take a bit to get used to. I would recommend Sjogren and Model 1900 for your troubles.

Also, teamwork is important. It gives the enemy more people to shoot at.

In the absence of teammates, go from cover to cover.

Ribeyrolles is an excellent weapon, too.
