operations is amazing when you have a team who knows what their doing, but when you have a team full of retards, its incredibly frustrating

still fun i guess, but incredibly frustrating

like im spamming GO GO GO in the commo rose to everyone while theyre just sitting back shooting at the enemy instead of actually trying to cap the objectives

youll notice after your team loses a battalion or two everyone loses morale like a real war, and they are less motivated to rush ahead

If you team is competent is the best game mode even against an equal or better team

I held three battalions on the second sector of Sossions up at the church by using the field guns and repairing them when they got taken out

#

Three battalions and two Char 2C tanks and well held it. Fuck was such a good game (maybe not for the other team but the majority of them did try; shame they had selfish players who took the available armour and spawned arty trucks or worse mortar trucks)

#

In addition to firepower being not to be for the current job needed and only holding one person it's armour is thin and easy as shit to take out

#

Plus one less body on the objective would could've turned the tide

when everyone understands that Ops is a team based effort it becomes the most fun game mode

seeing medics and supports working together and assaults charging the objective, tanks helping out etc it all just works seamlessly

everything i do in ops is team based. if i see 2 attack plane farmers raping my team, ill jump up in a fighter and shoot them both down to give my team some breathing room

#

when im in cavalry i see some field guns raping my teams tanks (which is vital to the operation) ill flank them and target them, ill also clean up all the enemy hill humpers

#

the difference it makes is huge. but unfortunately a lot of people just treat Ops like a shooting gallery instead of the fact that a team needs momentum

Like, I've been seeing the model 10 a lot less recently so I'm guessing something did go wrong. Like, when someone would shoot me with the model 10 it sounded like I was getting shot with an smg :/

It wasn't necessarily to flat-out make LMGs harder at close range. Moreso the case that you tend to lose a duel with an Assault or Medic if you're both reaching to aim at each other at around the same time. But I think that has more to do with how Medic and Assault were changed than Support

Alright so I've played a few rounds now with the BAR Telescopic (at the suggestion of someone else on here) and personally it actually feels pretty good as a single-fire/short burst weapon if you're using the bi-pod. Nice mid-ranged damage. Kicks like a mule without the bi-pod but that seems like a fair trade.

I also unlocked every hero in swbf2 within the first five days I had the game lol
