Okay guys, Battlefield 1 question. What's a better close-support sniper rifle? The Carcano M91 or the 1895 Trench? I was taking a look at Symthic and I think the only difference is that the Carcano is a bit faster, and has a steadier damage curve.

The Carcano doesn't have a "Sweet spot" either

For CQC I'd go with the SMLE, Gewehr M.95, or the Vetterli-Vitaly.

The 1895 trench is just bad IMO, long ranges requires 3 shots and it has a slow reload.

Try operations instead, much more condensed and there's always an active object you need to hold/capture. There's more of a sense of teamwork in operations.

The Ribeyrolles is just pinpoint perfect

Hellriegel and Automatico simply dump too many rounds down range, so spread is a trivial matter for those since they just fire more bullets to fill the gaps

The same formula goes to the machine pistol and the Chauchat smg is just a 9 round auto firing revolver in disguise
