I think it is very obvious which assault rifle is best in short-range scenario. Medium and long range engagements are open for most assault rifles as the same people who are fine with running the 416/L85 can also the slower ROF or higher damage weapons just fine. I don't like this status quo as I can just hide behind a rock or some cover when I am getting shot at distance, or I could just slap an AG and a muzzle break to compensate for the recoil of the very obvious assault rifle which I am talking about. I remember in BF3 that the AEK was the king, but it just doesn't sit right that there are 16 assault rifles in BF4 but only a handful are truly viable. Of course, I could just be butt hurt because I don't like using the AEK.

The only guy I know that shreds consistenly with a non-AEK assault rifle is Ravic, but he has 20k hours in BF4

I think when they added server browser that would have solved split pop problem, and then you would get people joining 40 player ops servers

as it is, people see one Ops server which is full, and all the ohter ones are empty...so they just join conquest

The only operations game i played was Monte Grappa and I hated it.

We got a superb defense on the first two points.

So they immediately got a behemoth. I also saw they had 3 plane spawns while we only had 2, and they also had 2 arty trucks and a landship active at the same time.

We only had 1 AA gun on our side.

#

Kinda fucking annoying to play a match where the enemy is spamming Arty trucks in their spawn and attackplanes.
