Heh, I know kd or loss/win rate doesn't really mean much, but I'm still strangely bothered by my loss/win rate being at 38%

Just feels like it should be around 50% since almost all games I play are conquest

Maybe it's mostly that when joining games in progress, the losing team is the one that has empty slots, so it leans that way on an average

what i hate the most, as i've said before, is the imbalance of teams

20vs12 in conquest is NOT cool, but no one seems to care to join the other team, just cause they're winning

Hi, any tips to improve K/D ratio?

I started playing about 2 weeks ago, I play mostly medic and I'm sitting at 0.86 at the moment

k/d isn't super important, though mine went up quite a bit when I stopped rushing into everything and played more defensive

Mine is pretty low too, 0.98, but really if you want a metric of your skill, score/min is way more relevant in BF

@outer igloo If you play medic, use the SL 1907 Sweeper or the Autoloading 8 .25 Extended. They provide good damage up close and have plenty of bullets with a quick reload which makes it a forgiving weapon if you miss a lot.
Secondly, powerslide! When you're running over open ground or getting shot at, press the crouch button and you'll powerslide. Do this every now and then and you'll be a hard target to hit.
Third, keep your eyes on the minimap. You can increase its size in the options menu to give you a better view.
Fourth, move from cover to cover. The only time you shouldn't be behind cover is when you're moving. The only time you should be moving is when you go to another cover. If you can't find cover, find concealment like bushes and stuff. Don't engage enemies when you're out in the open, get behind cover, even if it's a wooden box or something it will still make you a harder target to hit.
There's more but that's some useful basics.

Both the Hellriegel and the MP-18 can be used decently at long range by basically just bursting in the general direction of the enemy and eventually you'll hit

the way the Automatico works you couldn't hit a target the size of a tank at long range

I don't know a lot about consoles but I've heard that if you're engaging someone from close to medium distance should place the crosshairs on the enemy and then quickshot because the autoaim snaps onto them for you. Don't know if it actually works like that but it's worth a shot.

And aim is all about practice.

Scout: SMLE, M.95, Martini-Henry.

On a different topic... is anyone else getting loss-partial matchmaking? Across a couple hundred conquest games it's been a win about 1/3 of the time which seems oddly low

Maybe it's just that joining games in progress makes it more likely to join a losing team, but was just curious if anyone else has the same experience

What does 'full games' imply for the summer missions? Can you join short after a game started and it'll still count?

I did that and I got all rewards

Still shitty about the summer elite dogtag being the 'secret reward' and you could've waited till now to start the missions

Get them all done within the week and get everything the next week

Trust me I'll be the first one at Dice Studios with a Pitchfork and torch if Anzacs aren't in TT

I proposed that if you own the dlc you can use those characters in vanilla and vice versa

E.g. Use the French in Argonne, Yanks on Sossions, everyone bar the Turks in Monte Grappa

Mainly because the Anzacs could be used (sorry SHOULD) at Ameins, Scar, Suez and Sinai
