Same here. When I played 3's campaign, I thought it was mainly 'meh' but compared to 4's it was brilliant! Also I really liked the co-op missions. Quite a bummer they never went back to that. I also finished Hardline's because I wanted that Platinum Trophy (was playing on PS4). And that one's took me several attempts because I just couldn't stand the main characters.
Then came BF1 and the first mission, the one we all saw in the videos prior its release, was really well done with the names of the fallen soldiers and the end when you encounter a german soldier, but both of you lower their weapons and the narrator goes "behind every gunsight is a human being. these are our stories."
I thought: "YES, FINALLY! A story from something other than the Allies' POV."
But, nope, all that follows is total weaksauce. Everything is from the allies' point of view again (dude, that conflict is like more than one hundred years ago! let's see the other sides for a change) an the missions themselves just aren't nearly that well done like the opening one.

My biggest gripe with BF1's story is that the way they present the war in the opening mission, especially with that narrator and his dramatic "behind every gunsight is a human being. these are our stories." which really let's you think that they touched the subject carefully and there will be stories from 'human beings' on both sides. but then it's just the same old stuff as always.

So I bought the base game for $30 on the current PSN sale. I didn't enjoy the beta, TTK felt way too fast and Conquest felt odd. Now I feel the same about the full game, however playing Domination seems to work a lot better with the gameplay.

So in the short time the update has been out, we've gone from unlimited nades to "maybe u get 1". Not always spawning with a nade now. 50% seems.
Fortress gun (empires specifically) took 7 direct hits to an empty tower from one of the the guns by D, firing @ E tower. 7 direct hits with the fortress gun just to level the tower (it use to be 1-3 max!!!) AND I JUST GOT A HIT MARKER firing and hitting an attack plane that was already damaged. Plus to top it off after that i got 2 consecutive hit markers with it against the same target! (all on hardcore by the way). And now it seems boats have more power than a battleship, so much that two of them were able to push mine into the bay by E and couldn't get out or even fire at anything! (ps hardcore dmg is now 200% by default on xbox....
Will be reporting it on tracker even tho it wont do any good for another 2 DLCs lol

It says it has more control (less recoil) but I don't know if that's when you use the bipod or just generally when using it.

Sometimes the game borks a little and will set you back to being class level 0 in some servers, which means you can't use or equip any of the new assignment guns.
