It's really not. Even friendly AA guns would cause your plane to enter a sudden death dive you can't pull up from. It means pilots have no reason to dive lest their 100 health plane is killed instantly by a single shot.
Some amount of shake is fine, instant-death is a little annoying.

I've had it happen plenty of times. If you fly low and the shots explode above you there's a chance it'll knock you straight down. If you fly bombers it probably won't happen though.

I finally unlocked the Ribeye Rollers last evening. It is actually really good. It has a slow fire rate which means it gets beat by the Automatico at very close ranges but it can out gun shitty snipers when the bipod is down. It's a bizarre gun.
Whether it was worth the struggle of getting 20 headshots with the Mp18...thats a different story haha

Ribeye has about the same RPM as the MP18 I think, just it's actually accurate and you can snipe people with a deployed bipod.

I've found sneaking up on snipers/flanking people on stationary guns to be the easiest way to do it since they can't move out of the way quick enough if you're close to them. Otherwise it's just getting lucky
