Question about bf1, when I'm wearing a gasmask inside gas, but can't see the grenade indicator - Is there a way for me to tell if I'm still inside gas. I often find myself thinking it's clear, taking off my mask only to get a super green screen and still be inside the gas so i have to re-apply it.

So when I'm actually wearing the mask it's very hard for me to tell if I'm in gas or not, since the screen looks pretty normal :\

Use the SMLE Infantry (2.0 magnification) for close and medium range, its amazing. It holds 10 rounds and has a very good sweet spot of 40-80m. You can even snipe with it without giving your position away since there's no scope glint

your team or the enemy team has to catch a pigeon and then stay safe while you write a secret message and then once the message is done you go outside to release the pigeon. the enemy has a very short chance to shoot down the pigeon. if your pigeon escapes your team gets a point. if the enemy shoots it down, no point. first to three points normally wins

Gewehr is a long range rifle SMLE is short range

SMLE sweet spot is something like 40 - 85m

Gewehr is 75 - 120m or something similar

Marksman variants have a 4x scope that dont show a glare to the enemy

Sniper variants have a 10x scope that does have a glare

So the difference is you either get a better view from afar but your location is revealed pretty easily

Or you try a little harder to be on target but remain somewhat concealed

Honestly it comes down to personal preference, they all have 1 torso hit sweet spots which make them all different for different ranges but they all kill with a headshot at any distance

Russian 1886 is similar to SMLE but with a faster chamber speed so less time between shots
