Shadowplay and OBS does have small performance impacts, 5-10 frames (usually unnoticable when you're in game since the framerate is already bouncing around), Action! has absolutely none. Except when I save the clips (TimeShift, similar to Shadowplay), then I see a tiny dip of like two frames for a second

Actually, with shadowplay and OBS (using the nvenc encoder), there is no frame loss, it used cuda cores and such to capture frames

same for Action!, except it has NVENC, VCE, QuickSync, and some other thing nobody uses, the reason why Action! gets LESS of an impact is because of a different encoding technique. Files are so tiny that you really don't have to worry about filesize at all, while there's a very slight decrease of quality, which isn't noticable until you compare it with raw gameplay

I have a gtx960 2gb which shouldnt give problems with bf but the cpu is a bottleneck. I have an fx4300. Someone else on here has a fx4130, with a 980ti, and on ultra 1080P he can only get 40-60 because of the cpu, because we all know the 980ti should be getting 100+

i don't know how console's gpu vram work, but IIRC the ps4 has something of a modified 7950/r9 280, that has 3gb vram, which the gpu can have ultra textures with no problems, unless consoles somehow supports higher than 1080p

I really like the Frametrooper actually 🙂 , you just have to stay passiv from time to time with the heroclasses to heal up and wont get shot by a tank or hit by a granate.
