youre not really wrong yea. stingers just provide denial of service, despite the whole point is putting a rocket in an enemy aircraft. Well placed rpg shots work for HELOs, and good TOW shots from the IFV and MBT are realyl effective, but aside from that, its dogfighting against jets that really get them killed

Also, good thing that they fixed flare not working on paint, it used to straight up just not give the warning 90% of the time

Some thoughts about the topic. Helis do pretty much depend on being light weight, for liftoff, speed, maneuvering and nice movements, they are not tanks with propellers. Even the most armored helis in real life will go down if 1 RPG hits.

see if your team is bad , then you get stomped , thats how the game works , does not change jets are relatively weak vs ground vehicles , there is not if on the right situation , do you have an tank or ifv on your team? if so put a good driver in that and all air is basically denied the right to fly , if the air focuses down that guy , he can basically still win with good driving and a single engie , if your team does not have a good tow user , you get dominated by their air unless your air is decent , its that simple , as a ground vehicle player you should be aware of air , infact more than other ground vehicles , other ground can only engage you with direct line of sight generally , terrain blocks that , air can basically always have a line of sight to you , and guess what , your tow basically counters that , they see you , your tow is already on its way , they die , you are free to engage ground for around 2 min before they are back up

Frankly I think the current problem is AA is really strong, which would be fine if it wasnt for the severe lack of counterplay especially for helis. A lot of these maps are terribly designed and give no sort of cover to hover anywhere remotely safe

maps are way too small and way too little cover for aircraft and in the same way for ground vehicles to dodge aircraft , too flat , too open , too small no huge pieces of cover in the middles to split the map well enough into sections , this is why we need big city maps , manhatten bridge , slaped into the center of firestorm or mirak and outer edges made twice as big would solve all these problems and give spawns 5 ciwis so nothing can hit anything in there and put huge buildings all around the spawn so people in spawn can't shoot out of it and just camp it , done , solved every problem with maps

I play in asia region and can confirm that bots plague my lobbies most of the times. I think it’s something to do with the matchmaker forcing you into a new game if you’ve waited in queue for up to ~2 minutes. There’s probably many players online and different lobbies running concurrently, the matchmaker is just afraid of making you queue for it.

the "secret" ones where even the desciptions and all images and everything show as secret, are usually "placeholders" for future content/events, and/or things that are extremely rare to get and we wont know what they are for until further down the like as people get them

My only guess is that, this is an achievement the devs flag as hidden so it doesn’t spoil something ahead of time. Once you complete whatever triggers it, it reveals itself like any normal achievement. To me it's more of a mystery for the sake of mystery than an actual puzzle, the digital equivalent of putting a sticky note over a trophy and saying “you’ll see when you see." This is not tied to some crazy hidden quest or Easter egg btw.

RedSec only gives you so much XP because it’s basically the demo lane, you can grind levels, but the game keeps the faucet half-closed until you buy the full version. I mean the best you can prolly do is focus on easy, repeatable stuff like capturing objectives, completing challenges it actually allows, and making sure you’re swapping weapons or roles to hit whatever small XP bonuses you can. It’ll feel slow no matter what because that’s by design. Once you jump into the full multiplayer, the XP rate jumps noticeably, and hands you the real progression firehose.

Yeah, that’s the real question. Going private only helps if the new owners actually trust the devs to rebuild BF in their own way. If they give the teams room to take risks and bring back that old creative freedom, the franchise could genuinely bounce back. But if they swap investor pressure for their own agenda, nothing really changes.

mortar and incen would just be great in general just because it would counter people camping in one spot and force them to move .....mortar don't do enough dmg and you have to have pin point aim to get a kill even though if you get hit by a mortar if you are directly or 5 ft from the blast zone you are a dead player. thats at least the logic but dice does a bad job of scaling proper dmg

Fun fact the anti nade trophy system blocks drone attacks so you have to anti mortar.

Discovered it by accident a few days ago when I was trying to counter another teams mortar fire.

You guys have no clue what you're talking about man. Firstly, the stationary AA has really low range. Secondly, the you're being locked on by stingers, jets, helis and AAs. Then you get laser designated so you're being locked on by AGMs and Javelins. Then there's also the fact that you can flare and the lock still doesn't break.

so for flying this is what i see. maps not utilized enough for heli/jets .....what i mean by this is maps that kind of favor those as of this moment. secondly for AAA it def does feel a bit weak and normally i dont main it unless i have to bc no one focuses AA lol. tow missles are a bit weak ......thats just from their flight time to target and their turn radius being one of the slowest so far...... as for bug define that for me ......because that can be anything. when it comes to having to dodge AA if you preflare before a missle lock audio hits then thats your issue so stop complaining. and you can dodge MOST rockets at low altitude or high depending.

Tanks and IFVs can one shot the Heli's with ease , Helis need to be able to kill tanks in one pass for balance , I play both tanks and helis both equally , they are balanced against each other , only problems are map design related

Is fire range bugged? If I test my sniper loadout, after shooting targets once, they stay down if you look at them. If you turn your back, they get up and when you turn towards them they all go down. LOL
