Coming - fatal errors shouldn’t be related to the lack of update though. I’m specifically trying to prevent those with what I want to send for 3.3 right now 
I don't buy copies of 5* in WuWa because I learned from HSR that getting max copies for a character removes all the fun from the game for me.
(Only exception in WuWa is when their S1 gives you interrupt immunity. Cause that shit is annoying)

Not after I've been playing for a while and the shaders have had a chance to cook.
after playing for a while i no longer stutter with bike flying too, but it starts stuttering after every restart...found nice texture btw, ps1 graphics are back
You can always delete your shaders and re-compile them to see if that helps any.
But you'll have to suffer stutters for a bit for it to fully rebuild.

i hope its not some instability with ram or cpu...maybe i should try cpu setting without OC...hope its not ram too...but i changed my ram settings to use default EXPO profile and it still stuttered, that didnt help...currently im using profile with smaller timmings because it seemed stable too

i didnt have graphical problems, only stutters during cutscenes when i did story...there were small stutters that were annoying, but during gameplay stutters are much longer sometimes and it doesnt seem like shader compiling, since it keeps happening on same actions and in same zones
maybe those stutters are more prevalent only if you are on highest possible settings...i have good enough fps, but random nonsensical stutters ruin it

yeah i have that too, but i have feeling like random UI changes like activating ult where it hides UI also introduce stutters or when you go to academy and it says your bike speed is limited, i kept getting stutter most of the time when that pop up appeared

the game is an absolute wreck in lahai roi and I'm worried the later regions are worse (i havent played since mornye release)
Septimont is mostly fine, but that latter area with Augusta's story whatever that's called - that's the heaviest for me
the game's cpu performance being optimized for people running fuckin zen8 3d vcache chips doesn't help
the new area this patch is pretty brutal too
looks like i have a lot to look forward to when the urge to binge story and event quests hits
like, my main issue with the game at this point stems from their inability to optimize for lower end cpus

DLSS Fix is only needed when you're trying to use FG with Reno so I don't know which end the failure was on specifically.
i crashed today right on launch as the first time trying to use the new dlss fix
but game successfully launched the second time
and i did not get any more crash afterwards
also did try to spam the tab wheel

It's random. It's not a specific thing that causes it. Just seems to be a ticking time bomb.

I removed DLSS Fix and I haven't had a crash since.
So it's a conflit with that specifically.
Also Fuse mentions this about the new build of the Fix. So I'm not sure if I just need to wait for new WuWa addon for it to become stable.

SteamOS is just a fork of Arch, there's nothing special about SteamOS.
Any distro can be a gaming distro.
Nvidia layer ? You mean the nvidia app ? Afaik it's a feature exclusive to nvidia app. What you can tune with other driver tool is the max shader compilation cache which is different
At least I haven't seen any other tools capable of auto shader compil multiple games in the background without actually lauching the game

You know what they're doing instead? They're gonna push your CPU to the cool max power short bursts every time you open up their menus so the loading time wouldn't be as bad.
I can only see this going so well, CPUs for the first time will be pushed to max power on short bursts rather than prolonged periods that we are used to, and know the hardware effects of.
Also they're never gonna close the gap because they seem to not realise that all of the junk they run in background is causing the issues.
They openly stated that the new norm for gaming is 32gb DDR5 RAM, if you got 16gb, well, shit, you're out of luck, close your browsers and discord buddy.
no i mean the filter layer, for example the one u have to enable for rtx hdr or for recording functions
then you dont need it. Just tune within the app and it builds itself in the background. Your cpu will work even when you're idling but only for a few minutes and not at full speed so it's not that disturbing

I did new clean install of windows, to fix my stutter issues in games, especially NTE and WuWa and it seems like it really got fixed (i still stutter when shaders are compiling, but once they compile its fine 98% of the time...
and now when i tried installing every mod back into wuwa i cant make them work anymore camellya ....

even enabling Rivatuner OSD gives me fatal crash error sometimes, but maybe thats normal

yea they are gone...(but enabling DLL override in Nvidia app or in nvidia profile inspector gives fatal crash error too, but spiwar already told me that i shouldnt override dlls when using DLSSFIX....however luckily changing dlss model still works at least without crashes, or replacing dlls in game folder for newer ones

its interesting how my previous windows instlal got fucked up somehow with horrible stutters...i wonder if those bsods/freezes i got broke it...they happened few times right after i installed it and was undervolting my CPU

You can't do that sort of thing with traditional ReShade.
Competitive games use more strict anti cheat which is why you can't / shouldn't use ReShade with Add-onn support for those games. (i.e. Marvel Rivals)
