You don't need to take any kind of color correction from that, you can just grab the shader toggle without any effects

it's not RR, but DLSS older preset D that forced with RR enabled. because RR uses a different nvidia library, other than dlss one.
Devs changed it to preset E now

by the way, the screenshots on that mod page are extremely misleading, because they seem to be using very low settings in their comparison. This is what the unmodded game looks like. No crazy blur, and the edges of walls aren't perfectly straight. (don't pay attention to the hdr, this is a converted screenshot for convenience)

Go into the graphics settings and set model detail to LOW. Looks way better and the shimmering is massively reduced.

To me it does feel/serve similar itches. But doing things in that game feels more tiring than here (it feels more bloaty and things you do and collect feel less important) can't shake the feel of open world bloat, while here it's the opposite

I've been doing quests commissions and bounties getting my reputation up still in ch3. Over 30h. No reason to rush. Fishing, hunting, farming ores and wood and things. Exploring. Slow walking enjoying the scenery and atmosphere. But it seems that farming materilas a waste of time if you can send NPCs to farm later for you.

I had dynamism at 48 to help reduce exposure in other situations, but here it increases it? reducing dynamis to 30 helps. it's so odd, i can't figure out when does the AE make it brighter or dimmer. any other ideas how could I tackle this? game brightness is 150, reducing contrast to 45 helps a bit too but still blinding

I've got some weird thing where with the shader toggler installed the shimmering rocks are gone even if I disable the shader toggler with the hotkey. So I don't lose the depth on the ground, but the shimmering is gone somehow?
