We can adjust shaders
add in and replace SRVs, RTVs
maybe do some addon side C++ code
engine level modifications require reverse engineering the engine code
this is why U+ is limited to UE
and well Cyberpunk
The point is, shaders are responsible for 'shading' and the graphics build up of how a game looks. Those are the things we can adjust using RenoDX
LODs / draw distance is not something you can change shader side. There are shaders that take LOD / draw distance info and shade it, however shaders themselves arent responsible for engine level CPU data
Maybe there's some shenanigans in the shader code which is why theres pop in
however thats a big X to doubt

My expectation is this is BDO but focused on better SP experience. If you enjoyed BDO (including some of its quests and world building) you will love this. (Hopefully? BDO is already fine as is)
BDO had a lot to nice little details in the world, every npc and corner of town had some uniqueness to it. It was nothing alike content slop soulless copypasta you see in Ubislop games and literally copy-pasted towns in New World
So I'm expecting Crimson to up this to higher level, I don't trust Jason's words one bit

Doubt it works but worth a shot, DLSS has a "something HDR" flag than can be forced with emoose's DLSS Tweaks. Maybe other method but I only know that one.
Well I guess RenoDX could do it with streamline's hooks or whatever.
Though the only case I had too because DLSS was after post-processing is Steelrising, and I don't remember game being clamped with flag disabled, highlights were just wavy, shimmering/ghosting in a quite unique way.
