Half res of the pre-upscaling
half res and jank
but the game randomly decides it will either use half res or full res for DoF
if you use the camera tool, the DoF there will always be full res
and some cutscenes also use full res DoF
then other times the cutscenes use half res DoF

I guess its just task manager scaring me? Usage is so high in pause screen
It's DLAA, it looks so bad because the game doesn't use Full depth (or any depth buffer in that matter to upsampled the DOF, nor trying to filter it) for upsampling

Midfield's terrain is flat AF so shadowing doesnt apply, Bend mentioned in their paper that thats the same thing with Days Gone but they were able to use depth bias to still apply contact shadows onto flat terrain
in -game GTAO does apply to POM and gives extra shading to terrain
so its probably the same just need to add it to shadows

Hmm so after a lot of testing, it seems like in vulkan vsync is broken, it forces the game refreshes at your target fps. If you use FPS limiter, it will create insane frame pacing issue, even though frame time graph is flat
Seems like the only thing to fix that is to use nvidia's vsync then limit game fps with both nvidia and addon

And it gets way worse if you add FG.
Yeah I got tons of jittering pacing when paning the camera just because my monitor isnt 120hz XD

since the camera angle doesnt require worldspace that much
You can exponentially increase the amount of rays you cast for barely any increase in perf cost

No random noise
No typical RT limitations from low sample / rays amount

if you want to use it without 3dmigoto, just use the pinned instructions, aka rename reshade64.ini to d3d12.dll, along with the standard reshade.fxh
and start it the launcher in dx11 mode

delete the dxgi.dll, and everything spri has likely will work

now i put reshade 64 in there
