Hmmm I encountered a bug in VK with replacing shaders. When those wrist watch scifi style viedo starts playing, the graphics would freeze ERROR | Failed to submit immediate command list! with this error in reshade log
I removed all shaders, just used renodx::mods::shader::Use(fdw_reason, custom_shaders) without any shaders included, and the error will still show

it's an optiscaler issue. from what i can tell, the game disables DLSS when you're in menus, and that seems to make optiscaler freeze for a bit

what version were you running? i was having that issue to but installing the latest preview fixed all of those for me
the preview from 1/9 was causing it but builds 1/22 and higher havent had that issue for me it was even breaking the news menu and like trying to crash the game basically

What really annoys me is that the OG Intro explained what happened immediately.
meanwhile the one that we got just goes like

I really do hope they manage to recover from this, as the storyline just seems like it wasn't written with the 180 from 'you're a god that we awake in dire straits' to 'i need you to plant your devices near me Endmin' in mind
current intro + the attack on hub base is still good I'd say

the intro isn't bad, but compared to the Tech Test one, you can see how they just took half of the interesting stuff out, and streched out the other half.
The tech test was was what I expected going in, only expanded upon.

So I tried to cope changing grass colours to match alpha
but it griefs other greens in a scene
I wanted to do it via LUTbuilder but that griefed fx
Just touching grass shader also looks wack
ground is too green
