i was crashing on 595.79 permantly on 75% with RT on 5090 so I had to rollback to 591.86 to stop the crashing

rtx hdr is converting UI as well to hdr which may lead to burn in overtime so that's my source of worry
Better than auto HDR of windows, but its a really low bar.
Reno is as close as you can get without native support.
But even then. Most native support has errors like Crimson Desert where bright red turns to pink.

Handheld and HDR are kind of aspects that are at odds with one another.
HDR works best in light controlled enviroments.
And this is more important the dimmer your screen is.

Planning to try and make RenoDX work on Linux, have heard only bad things as to how painful it is to get it to work on Linux. But pretty much the only 2 handhelds that tick the requirements for me.

So guys i tried everything remove engin.ini, remove DLSS Ray Tracing i always got these weird red effect on some props and effect like on the tree on the screen rn I use an RTX 4090 and these effect stop when i desactivate Reno....
and i can't play with reno the games looks so flat without it :/

I though he was speaking about my bug cause i have preset M too but just in case i try DLSS normal in nvidia app still got that same red things, so not related from dlss
the bug only disapear when i remove reno (use preset base in reshade, but still got reno installed) and when i use any other preset the bug came back

My DLSS settings:
Make sure you don't have Optiscaler HDR upgrade on or any other HDR upgrades on. They will conflict.

The DLSS Fix for Wuwa didnt work for me, I kept getting a fatal error. After I reset the Nvidia DLSS Preset M to default settings, it worked.

I tried both on 50 series. To me, the DLSS fix has lower latency and more stable frame rates, but smooth motion allows for the M and L models, making the visuals much better than the DLSS fix

found out it was due to my reshade dll

i had to configure the addon search path to the correct folder that contains renodx
simply rename reshade64.dll and use it directly in the game, for example as d3d12.dll.
for me i just put reshare64 as dxgi.dll and the addon64 files in the game directory where client-win64-shipping lives

increase saturation if you want more vibrant colors, using bt.2020 is just wrong
the problem is the paper white value or well the avg brightness, everything is too bright, plus the highlights on the skin turn pink while the skin tone stays the same color, it's definitely not great

but the game is made using SDR color space
so using bt2020 will cause unintended color showing up in unintended places

but wuwa was made in rec 709
so it limits the colors to that color space kinda

Someone mentioned in HDR den that it has TB1000 certificate which is apparently better than any consumer monitor and it should handle HDR relatively well
most of the cheaper OLED monitors are TB400/600

the newer areas look so much better, when it comes to RT, than 2.x areas
I'd rather have sub part reflection but a better optimisation tbh
Comes with the fun bonus of also being more CPU intensive every patch

we get more highlight colors but lose the sdr blowout, which is similar to what we had in the earlier wuwa builds
for example some hues look off, like aemeath's pink particle effects around her turn blue
tweaking highlight saturation slider even +1 results in clipping
If they're shifting blue it's so subtle I can't really even tell.
