Games even those that have HDR
Are nearly all limited to 709 colours
WGC is rare because assets havent been made with it in mind, It requires studios to remake their entire workflow and 99.999% have no transitioned over to it
709 doesnt mean SDR
and colour volume on better displays can still be taken advantage of
709 has a bit of WGC, it doesnt completely clamp
and it is 'correct' to the intent of the game
Setting it to BT2020 will just stretch the colours
in most cases it looks wack

709 to p3 conversion if perfect keeps all the ratios the same. Yes it's a different color but the tree correctly x times more green then a grass. Saturation slider pretty sure messes up these values

Personally find the shadows to look a bit weird especially near the bench. The pale bloom lighting make sense for the time of day, but the shadows look bad imho
Vanilla+ looks a bit "cooked" lol, seems like a side effect of the game grading :/

That happens with V3 shadows, if you go too far either direction it'll break
can you check if its the output shader or the shadows specifically

my screen is flickering when using renodx, especially light sources
You need #1413548071987576862 if you are using DLSS-FG 4 (Or you could keep using DLSS4 for super resolution, but revert framegen to DLSS 3, as a workaround)
And set the dlss and interposer dll path in reshade.ini like explained. And not use nvidia override for dlss version. Just replace in the game files instead with latest "streamline" dlls (or use SK, if it even works)
They added a new AO solution, distant field ambient occlusion. Compared to SSAO/GTAO the game use (and UE4 provide)
Supposely better but slightly higher gpu usage.
It is in the 2.8 changelog, they showcased it in videos, but it's not in the game settings 🤔

I was able to do this for ZZZ (DX11) though with hardcoded value for 3840x2160 display
I tried the same naive approach but I only got crashes with wuwa :/ Could be skill issue or DX12 shenanigans
I did something as stupid as this #🧪lab message on the shader responsible for UID (but also text on buttons etc)
I took a screenshot, looked at which position the text start (top left of UID), and just clip(-1) anything with a higher x && higher y value
Works well with ZZZ (doesn't hide text anywhere else), but couldn't make this work in wuwa, crash at boot
v0.x > 70 && v0.y > 2110 should hide all the bottom of the screen (so both location and UID) (for 3840x2160 display)
Though if you want to make both toggleable independantly, you'd need something else to make two zones

for XCOM 2 I was looking at adding UI scaling
it worked but I then would have to adjust how the UI moves in relation to the scaling which was all way too long for me
but I inadvertently figured out a way to 'hide' UI elements
by jut scaling it all soo small

where partial remove only UID, location and ping (so 99% of people would use that all the time), while on (for text and hud) would be more for screenshots or something, and off be vanilla
