Before we had no character sold with their premium support, and the F2P weapons were decently usable compared to the signature ones

Now you kinda have to pull for the weapons otherwise the character will underperform like crazy (not less than 45% for augusta)

There are some decent points there.
But then you also had dog ass characters like Changli who everyone rolled and then 1/2 of the people quit the game when they realized she did no damage.

And it took a year before they finally came out with units that she worked with. Lupa is the only one that makes full use of her outro for example.

It isn't like Gal is bad in mono fusion. So most characters have pretty decent flexibility when it comes to team building.

If we get to the point where the 1.0 teams can't clear Tower I think that will be the canary indicator that things could be going south.

Most of her damage comes from her marks which go away upon death. So once you kill a mob her dps falls into oblivion.

And her ult is pretty weak.
One of the biggest issues is that her sitting heavy attack can be interrupted AND it takes all your gauge away.

Her skill (2nd hit) also can't be swap cancelled or dodge cancelled without losing the gauge it generates. So you just have to get hit.

Sorry to be a bitch fest. Thought a lot about this over time. XD

There might actually be uncertainty there. From what we saw in is preview story kit, Qiuyan buff would be buffing the "active" resonator echo damage. Since (from my understanding) most of Phrolova echo damage happens while she is off field, it might technically not apply. That being said, this detail is of course open to interpretation, and very well could be changed on release (since appart from story, is kit hasn't been officially available in the gallery).

And bright scenes/lighting keep flickering constantly. I'm using wuwano's latest renoDX patch and the issue still persists.

Any idea how to cull the flickering?

Yeah wuwa definitely had one of the lamest gacha anniversaries I can recall out of maybe any game that I currently play that plus the stuff with the cubes made me just lose interest in the game for like a month

I really hope they don't do the cube stuff again next year

I think we might be a bit spoiled in that regard. Because when you add a lot off other games into the discussion, I think it tends to put things into perspective. Overall, I really think animation work is a strong point of this game.

That would allow people to use both teams in endgame content though. Until now, it was one or the other. I might not be very interested personally, but that might actually make an easy upgrade for some people, enabling them to get one more team running.
