the more about ICE crap and other police abuse and such... I'm at the point I'm of the mindset "if you work for the government, you can NEVER use deadly force on our own citizens in our own country, even if you're under threat." There are enough non-lethal ways and I'm tired of seeing so many abuses of power. I'd rather they be at risk than not if they are going to choose to be in such a position of power.
I could MAYBE see an elite SWAT squad maybe being allowed it, but that would have to be after years of regular officer work and additional extreme training and even more laws/hard set rules around it. ICE, Military, National Guard, etc... anything federal should be banned from getting to use lethal force against our own people EVER. You can argue "but their safety," and I say eff their safety. If they want to worry about that so, don't work in the job.
