Signals set the allowed driving direction over a piece of track. Mouse over them or hold a signal and it should show you

do you want me to show you the signals there? maybe

neat jay
#

Over here they are quite confused it seems

jolly sun
#

yea i thought the same

#

The track through that station is southbound but the station needs trains from the south going north

jolly sun
#

so i need to do this on the other side?

neat jay
#

Red arrows are the driving directions that are allowed. Green are what the stations need

#

The easiest solution is to move signals around so this becomes a consistent one-way loop

#

Trains enter on the right track so ideally the stations face south, but you could keep the stations the same and have all traffic cross over instead

#

Like this

#

Any signals you place then go on the right side of the track when looking in the direction of those arrows

#

So that would look something like this. Note how a bunch of track becomes redundant if you do this.

#

No need to allow trains to turn into oncoming traffic

jolly sun
#

so it matter if i put signal at the same track but opposite position?

neat jay
#

Yes

jolly sun
#

ohh

neat jay
#

Trains can only pass if there is a signal on their right

jolly sun
#

thank you brother

#

neat jay
#
