is the productivity from doubling up on foundries and assemblers on gears and wire worth it? I thought I did the math once and you get more per ore going straight from liquid to gear/wire

im smelting plates for the small boost from using calcite + smelters on another planet

i used satalites to collect calcite to make foundrys viable wherever

its honestly not that efficent but having liquid metal can be nice for niche circumstances imo

makes spagetti easier
