#Forced spaghetti planet

Im taking any ideas! Including silly things like "the landing spot should be an italian flag with a plate of spaghetti"
- Machines that take a long time to pick up, or which cost something to pick up
- Essential parts of the crafting chain that must be built in certain areas
- Thin bridges between places
hmm
- small curvy land areas
- recipes that produce items in the thousands but the machine that makes that item outputs to a vector, so you can direct-insert. So you get processing lines that are directly inserting, allowing weirdly shaped assembler shapes
These are great ideas!
What im currently considering is
- Ruined high density world with machines you can't change the recipe to or destroy (until later tech)
- having a special fuel which decomposes into nothing randomly generate on belts that powers these machines
2b: maybe machines generate this fuel at a passive very slow rate, so you need to spaghetti many belts around many machines
Many of your ideas make this concept better, thanks!
@blissful kernel
for the name forced Spaghetti planet i would imagine a plant which covered in belt. They should wriggle around in all directions, have some destinct aoztlines like hilbert curves and what comes into mind…
the deal is you can,t place any belts, only rotate and delete them. Assembler and all could be placed only with a certain distance to each other.
mayebe you can build a cluster of max 10 assemblers close by but each cluster then needs a spacing to other clusters
the easy game thennwould be if only the distanz requirement is in place, belts can be placed as whised
I thimk even rotation should not be allowed to not break the Spaghetti
